I have been fortunate to know Shari on a personal level for more than 20 years and she has consistently followed her heart to the music that brings meaning to her life and joy to others. Shari Chaskin and her talented musical partner, pianist Jon Day have been a wonderful Calgary Petroleum Club member favourite entertainer for many years. In February of 2021, Shari and Jon performed an intimate “virtual” Valentine’s event for the Club members when in-person events were not permitted. Post- pandemic, Shari has been able to perform at the Clubs Valentine, New Year’s Eve and Seafood Buffet celebrations. Shari is a consummate professional. Shari delivers on every aspect of the event. What truly is the magic, however, is Shari herself. She is compassionate, funny, caring and for her “It’s Personal” – a Club core value. Shari is not only a preferred corporate entertainer; she is now a friend. I would recommend Shari to everyone. It is rare to find such talent; and you will not find a more caring human.

Shari performed for our wedding at the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel. It was spectacular. She truly is talented and has a sultry voice and presence. She and pianist Jon Day played over 20 songs and learned most of them specially for our repertoire. Our guests raved about the music for weeks afterwards. It truly did make the day that much more special.

You are the brightest star!!! I love when you bring your fun loving, keeping it real, personality to the show! Lol… The Celtic song hit my soul hard and I still feel the chills it gave me. Also, there’s nothing like you singing songs from Les Miserables! Great night and so many great songs!
